Ben Bites

Ben Bite #1
BaitBen livewells are built and designed using the highest quality materials and the most advanced technologies possible. Every component of all BaitBen products are designed to withstand many years of the hardest outdoor environments.
Ben Bite #2
All of our portable livewell & release tanks have a special aerating system that provides maximum dissolved oxygen without any chance of creating air bubble poisoning or excessive total gas preasure in the water column.

This is accomplished by a unique filter that is a protein skimmer which (removes feces, suspended solids, and dissolved organics, etc.) and degasses (removes ammonia, carbon dioxide, etc.) from the water column.
Ben Bite #3
BaitBen units can keep all types of bait alive, salt water or fresh water. Some are listed below.

Ben Bite #4

Water has an oxygen saturation point dependent on concentration & temperature.

Ben Bite #5

Fish breathe oxygen not bubbles. Aeration systems cannot bring dissolved oxygen concentrations above saturation point.

Ben Bite #6

Bubble aerators are better at removing gases, such as ammonia & carbon dioxide which helps with oxygen concentration.

Ben Bite #7

Large bubbles work best in an air lift system as they reduce water slippage.

Ben Bite #8

Since water seeks its own level by virtue of its weight, it gets pushed up an airlift pipe because the weight is less there.

Ben Bite #9

Aerated salt water produces much more & finer bubbles than fresh water & sometimes should be controlled with an air valve.
